Around 1400hrs today, Company 59 responded to their second fire of the day on Goldcrest Drive, just off of Rt 441 in Lower Swatara Township. Engine 59 arrived with a garage to the rear of home well involved with fire. Engine 59 performed a split lay, with Tanker 59 completing the lay to the closest hydrant, at the intersection of Nissley Drive and Oberlin Road. Crews stretched multiple hand lines while Truck Truck 91 set up in front. Additional 1st alarm units assisted with suppression and overhaul operations. Crews worked for about 3hrs before going available. Thank You to all our Mutual Aid partners that assisted.
