On Monday, May 9th, the Department returned to Cocker's Towing in Elizabethtown to continue the series on vehicle rescue training. Members focused on the use of the air bag system carried on Rescue 59. Crews conducted several evolutions utilizing different size air bags to perform lifts of a car on its roof. The evolutions also gave members the opportunity to practice their skills with stabilizing the vehicle using both cribbing and Paratech rescue struts.
