It was a busy weekend for the members of the Lower Swatara Fire Department. Besides answering multiple fire alarms, fire investigations, as well as medical calls, some of the larger events were a Structure Fire in Steelton on Friday, Escorting Santa through the township on Saturday, and finally assisting Londonderry Fire Department with a transformer fire at a Met-Ed Substation.

This weekend demonstrated the Lower Swatara Fire Department's commitment to it's community as well as it's neighbors in providing community services as well as fire prevention.

FDLS Members would also like to take this time to thank the Lower Swatara Township Community for making this year's Santa Run an outstanding success and with that success will possibly begin a tradition in the future Christmas' to come.
