Saturday evening about 9:30 pm Engine and Rescue 59 responded to assist Middletown Fire with a 1st alarm house fire in Lower Royalton. Engine 59 arrived taking 3rd due Engine assignment laying in from a second hydrant and stretched a back up line. Rescue 59 crew arrived and sent manpower to command. Company 59 was on scene for just over an hour with 8 personnel.
