With the past snow storm and the potential of more snow coming, it's important to remember that fire hydrants need to be cleared from snow and debris.
Because when an emergency occurs and seconds count, no one can afford wasting minutes clearing a hydrant in order to save life and property.
The Lower Swatara Fire Department respectfully asks it's residents to help and clear a hydrant that is near your residence in order to assist in protecting your property as well as your neighbor's.
