For the month of November, FDLS Members will be training in the art of Vehicle Rescue. This past Monday, FDLS members along with Elizabethtown Fire Department went to Cocker's Towing and reviewed techniques learned from a past Heavy Vehicle Extrication class where the object of the scenario is to lift a trailer off of a vehicle.
Members from both departments that had taken the class helped instruct others in the techniques learned and discussed the use of cribbing, stabilization struts, and airbags.
