Around 20:30 hours, units were dispatched to the 200 Block of W. Main Street in Middletown Borough for a reported structure fire. Engine 59 made the response with 5 personnel. As more information was received, the address was updated to the 400 Blockk of Apple Avenue. Units arrived to find a working fire on the second floor of a duplex. Based on this, Command 88 requested the balance of the first alarm, bringing Rescue 59 with 3 personnel. Engine and Rescue 59 both assisted with overhaul of the fire building and checking for extension into the exposure building. Crews operated for a little over 2 hours.
