Following the Foam Technician I class that was hosted by Lower Swatara Fire Dept., members from FDLS attended Foam Tech II and Foam Tech III classes this past weekend. These courses consisted of different foam applications and characteristics as well as a demonstration of different scenarios for applying large volumes of foam for large scale incidents. Finally, class members took a tour of Lucknow-Highspire Terminals in Mechanicsburg displaying different fuels stored at the terminal and some of the safety features incorporated into the terminal's operations.
