Members of FDLS played host this past weekend to forestry firefighters from Pennsylvania, Maryland, New York, and Maine who were being deployed to assist in fighting wildfires in California.

Station 59 serves as one of the Regional Mobilization Centers for DCNR, a staging point for their deployment. Company 59 personnel prepared dinner, breakfast, and lunch for the deploying forestry firefighters before they left to head out west. The forestry firefighters will be deployed for 2 weeks, assisting with the control and extinguishment of California's wildfires.
