On Thursday, April 5th, at approximately 08:35 hours Company 59, along with mutual aid, were dispatched to the Willow Farms Trailer Park for a reported trailer on fire. Engine 59-1 responded with 4 and was advised by Dauphin County Communications that they were receiving multiple calls confirming a working fire. Engine 91-3 arrived on scene and stretched a hand line to the front door and began attacking the fire. Engine 59-1 arrived immediately after Engine 91-3 and established a water supply, laying in from the entrance to the community and supplying Engine 91-3. Crews stretched a back-up line to a rear entrance and assisted with fire attack. Chief 91-3 arrived and assumed Command. Crews were able to knock the bulk of the fire down in minutes, and the remaining apparatus (Rescue 91 and Truck 88) arrived and assisted with overhaul. Crews operated for approximately 3 1/3 hours before returning to service.
