On 04/04/2017 at approximately 17:13 hours Dauphin County Communications (911) dispatched units to Jury St in the 55-1 box for a reported house fire. Dauphin County Communications advised they were receiving multiple calls reporting a working fire. The police department arrived, confirming the report and advising of a room and contents fire on the second floor of a 2 1/2 story single family structure. Engine 59-1 responded within minutes of dispatch with a crew of 6 personnel and was advised by Engine 55 to pick up their hydrant. Engine 59-1 arrived on location, picking up Engine 55's hydrant, as the crew reported to side A of the structure. Engine 59-1's crew stretched a 1-3/4" back-up line to division 2 and assisted Engine 55's crew with fire suppression and opening up. Chief 59, as the first arriving Chief officer, assumed the command. Chief 59-1, upon arrival, was assigned division 1 supervisor.
