On Saturday, 3/4/17, 19 members participated in CPR, AED, and first aid training provided by members of Life Lion EMS. During the training, Rescue 59 was dispatched to Steelton Borough on a first alarm assignment to assist at a working house fire. Rescue 59 responded with 6 firefighters and assisted with overhaul operations. Once the Rescue crew returned to quarters and were cleaned up, they went to the Life Lion hanger in Hershey to complete the portions of the CPR, AED, and first aid class that they missed while on the fire.
