This past Monday night, FDLS members began training for Firefighter One certification and will continue training for this certification into April.
Firefighter One certification means that personnel at this level will have demonstrated competency in the necessary knowledge and skills, while working under direct supervision, to function safely and effectively as a member of a firefighting team.
This evening members trained in self contained breathing apparatus inspections.
