On Sunday, September 15th, Department personnel traveled to the Middletown Home to participate in their Annual Pumpkin Festival. FDLS members started the day bright and early at 5 AM by setting up equipment and supplies for a chicken barbecue. Crews cooked just over 1000 chickens for meals to be sold at the event. In addition, FDLS personnel took the opportunity to interact with the public and showcase the Rescue and Tanker. Despite the long day, FDLS members enjoyed being able to participate in this large community event.
