Fire Safety Education

The Lower Swatara Fire Department participates in school and community events to promote fire safety.

The Lower Swatara Fire Department provides public education for the residents of Lower Swatara Township.

Programs Include: fire house tours, fire safety house, on site visits as well as fire safety drills.

The Lower Swatara Fire Department owns a Fire Safety Training House. This house is a 32 foot “house on wheels.” With this unit we can train anyone of any age on fire safety. The unit can also be used for hurricane training. We can put you in a realistic fire environment.

This 2003 Mobile Concepts Fire Safety House was purchased as part of the 2001 FIRE Act Grant.  The unit is a 35' Bleacher model.

This 2002 Robot Factory Custom will be used for fire prevention.
